I’m thinking about going to culinary school but I don’t know which ones are the Top Culinary Schools in California.
Your first jobs out of culinary will be as a line cook at, if you are lucky, $12/hr.
The top culinary schools in California are your local community college.
Of course you could go to a private school and walk out with $60,000 in debt – and still get $12/hr.
I’m looking for the top culinary universities in Canada. I’m not yet ready to be applying, but I’m big on planning early. I know for sure I want a future in the Culinary field, so I am wondering if anyone knows good culinary schools in Canada? I’m looking to own a restaurant, and be the chef as well.
Thanks in advance ![]()
Check out the art institute of vancouver, liaison college, and the northwest culinary institute (located in vancouver). These are really good culinary schools in canada.
I need a list of nice culinary institutes from around the world. Links would be helpful.

Institute of Culinary Education (probably in the top 5 in the US as well)
New England Culinary Institute

Canada:
★Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute – http://www.cordonbleu.edu/index.cfm?fa=FrontEndMod.CampusHomePage&SetCampusID=3
★The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Vancouver -
★Liaison College – http://www.liaisoncollege.com/
Australia:
★ Le Cordon Bleu Australia – http://www.lecordonbleu.com.au/
★ Culinary Institute of Australia – http://www.culinaryinstitute.vic.edu.au/
Those schools aren’t exactly the culinary schools you can go to though.
If you ARE going to study abroad in this subject, I STRONGLY suggest France or Italy. Anywhere in Europe basically.
My philosophy = If you’re going to spend the money studying abroad, then at least go to a good school =P
In the US, the top school is the CIA – the Culinary Institute of America. The original CIA is located in Hyde Park, NY. A second location is in St. Helena, CA.
There are many culinary schools in Asia and Australia.Cordon Bleu is the most preferred one.You can consider Swiss too.
Which course you are interested in?
